Where to go on Father’s Day 2025 – part 2

Father’s Day is coming up on Sunday, June 15. Whether dad prefers steak, a buffet or seafood, check out these options:

100 Sails Restaurant and Bar

Where: Prince Waikīkī, 100 Holomoana St., Honolulu
What: Prince Waikīkī is offering a Father’s Day brunch buffet ($109 per adult, $54.50 for children ages 6 to 10 years old) and a Father’s Day dinner buffet ($107 per adult, $53.50 for children ages 6 to 10 years old). The brunch buffet includes snow crab legs with clarified butter, Kalua Benedict, temaki sushi, a waffle station with assorted toppings, slow-roasted prime rib, porchetta, ‘ahi poke, smoked ‘ahi tartlets, and desserts like s’mores tartlets, Prince bread pudding, chocolate mint brownies and seasonal sorbet and ice cream. The dinner buffet includes similar options.

Barrio Café

What: Barrio Café’s 4th annual Father’s Day barbecue is a four-course barbecue dinner with live music, featuring special guest Rocio Mendoza from L.A. The menu includes caco-rubbed ribs, brisket with chile Colorado, roasted corn on the cob and chile poblano cornbread with chipotle honey butter.

Basalt Waikīkī

Where: Dukes Lane Market & Eatery, 2255 Kūhio Ave., Honolulu
What: Father’s Day specials are available during breakfast, lunch and dinner at Basalt Waikiki. The prime rib hash ($27) is served from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes prime rib tossed with fried potatoes, onions and bell peppers, two eggs any style, horseradish sour cream and green onions. The chimichurri beef sandwich ($27) is available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and features Tequila aioli, pickled onions and arugula. Finally, the eatery’s guava barbecue baby back ribs ($38) are available from 5 to 9 p.m. They come with braised collard greens, jalapeno cornbread and pipikaula baked beans.

Big City Diner

Where: Various locations
What: Big City Diner’s Father’s Day weekend specials feature family meals to-go. The Father’s Day prime rib family pack ($199.99) includes USDA Choice Hawaiian rock salt prime rib, large roasted garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed vegetables, large Caesar salad with local tomatoes, and snow Krabby cakes topped with sweet chili aioli. The Father’s Day breakfast family pack ($94.99) includes Ani’s awesome cinnamon bread French toast, homemade breakfast bread pudding with haupia crème sauce, scrambled eggs, grilled Portuguese sausage, snow Krabby cakes topped with sweet chili aioli, and steamed white rice.
