Hawaiʻi’s first everbowl location opens tomorrow

Known for its customizable superfood bowls, everbowl is opening its first Hawaiʻi location tomorrow, April 19 in Ka Makana Aliʻi.

Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Brandon and Angela Padilla, everbowl’s Oʻahu location will celebrate its opening by giving out free regular-sized everbowls from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. during its friends and family event on April 19.

The store is located across from Foodland Farms. You won’t be able to miss its colorful sign.

Everbowl’s menu features a variety of customizable superfood bowls and smoothies. Its signature dish is the EVERBOWL bowl ($11.99 regular size, $14.99 large size), which includes acai, granola, blueberries, strawberries, banana and a peanut butter drizzle.

“We have a proprietary blend that’s made for everbowl,” business co-owner Angela Padilla says. “It’s (the acai) more refreshing. It’s definitely not super sweet, which I really like.

“The concept is reinventing fast food, so it’s quick and easy,” she adds. “Our bases are scoopable. If you order a signature bowl, it’s literally ready in three minutes from start to finish.”

Other notable menu items include the PB cacao dream smoothie ($9.99 regular, $10.99 large) — a creamy blend of everbowl's Cacao Wow base, bananas, cacao nibs, peanut butter and almond milk — and the Blue Lagoon bowl ($11.99 regular, $14.99 large). The latter features pitaya, blue majic (which contains blue spirulina), coco love (coconut), chia pudding, strawberries, pineapple and coconut.

Customers can also enjoy the “build your own bowl” option, called "whatever" bowls. Start with your preferred base — like acai, pitaya or blue majic — and top it with granola, fruits or drizzles of your choice.

“The concept is like Chipotle — how you can look at your toppings and put them on,” Padilla says.

Besides its signature bowls, this everbowl location will also offer a selection of toasts ($6.99 each), ranging from classic avocado toast to bruschetta toast and a PB crunch toast.

The store will currently be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can expect to see more everbowl locations in the future, according to Padilla.

“We’re really excited to be here,” she says. “We are the very first everbowl on any of the islands , so I think it’ll be a great option for folks to come and check us out.

“We’re so tied in with the community; all three of our kids go to school around here,” Padilla adds. “I feel like our community needs something that’s more on the healthier side, especially for the kids. They need more healthy options that are quick and easy.”
