South Korean k-pop artist Taemin to perform in Honolulu

The k-pop artist Taemin will perform his first first concert in Hawaiʻi on Saturday, March 22, at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena. 

The one-night stop in Honolulu is part of Taemin’s “Ephemeral Gaze” world tour. Taemin shared a message to fans in Hawaiʻi via YouTube. In the video, Taemin mentions the tour is visiting five cities across North America.  

“I’m so thrilled and excited to be able to meet TAEMates all over the U.S., and I’ve heard that you’ve been showing so much support and encouragement,” Taemin said in the video. “Hawaiʻi TAEMate? See you soon!”

The k-pop artist is known for his first solo album “Press It” (2016), which was followed by “Move” (2017) and “Never Gonna Dance Again” (2020). Recently, he released the extended plays “Guilty” (2023) and “Eternal” (2024). 

Taemin was not available for interview. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range in price from $126.03 to $398.52. Get tickets.
