Honoluluâs newest night market is debuting this Saturday, March 8 at Waterfront Plaza.

Starting March 8, Taste of Aloha will be every second Saturday of the month from 4 to 8 p.m. The night market is designed to be a celebration of culture, cuisine and community, according to event organizer Kevin Nguyen.
âWe wanted to create a place for local, small business owners to showcase what they have,â he says. âHawaiÊ»i is such a huge melting pot and has so much to share. Being small business owners, we know how hard it can be to get your shot. âTaste of Alohaâ reflects HawaiÊ»iâs spirit of warmth, love and hospitality. It combines âaloha,â symbolizing kindness and welcome, with âtaste,â offering an invitation to experience the islandsâ diverse flavors and cultures.â

Dipped by Dee, Aloha Mamacita, NONA, Princess Liz Creations and Aloha NÄwÄhine are just a few of the vendors participating in this Saturdayâs event. For more information, visit tasteofalohahi.com.
âOur goal is to build a community with local vendors, where we are all able to support each other while creating a community with the public to provide a family-friendly place to gather,â Nguyen says. âWe also want people to find some new vendors here at the market.â
